How to Build Trust in the Autonomous Driving Industry

The future is all about autonomy. Automatic lights, locks, and windows in your homes, appliances, and even vehicles. Everyone in the automotive engineering world is working towards creating autonomous cars that can safely and efficiently transport you from where you are to where you need to be.

However, there is so much that goes into the technology of an autonomous vehicle (AVs), that many companies can get stuck in their own heads. LHP Engineering Solutions was created to help companies like these build an infrastructure for the autonomous world.

We already have vehicles trying out autonomous features such as automatic breaking and active cruise control, but the goal is to create a car that is 100 percent autonomous, with no driver.

The most important part of any autonomous vehicle is safety, and with safety comes trust. Our goal is to help our clients create processes that breed safe and reliable technology. We accomplish this through our engineering services and ecosystem advisory model.

To gain that trust, the industry must understand the characteristics of trustworthiness and should align on an ecosystem that can produce vehicles worthy of trust.

With the fast-paced growth and consumer interest of autonomous vehicles (AVs), it’s no surprise that companies are rushing to get ahead on the trend. Here are some of the most overlooked considerations companies need to put more emphasis on when it comes to implementing functional safety in the automotive industry.

LHP Engineering Solutions was founded in 2001 with the mission to provide the means to create a safer, smarter, and more connected world by enabling safer autonomous technologies through the LHP functional safety ecosystem.

LHP Engineering Solutions (LHP), an engineering services provider and technology leader in transportation functional safety, today announcced the addition of Marty Muse to its Executive Team as Vice President of Marketing. Muse brings nearly 20 years of experience in marketing leadership, strategic planning, and revenue operations for US-based, multi-national B2B software/technology organizations.
